WCA Chapter Annual Meeting

Please join the Washington Capital Area Chapter (WCAC) of ICEAA for our 2022 All-Member Meeting!
The All-Member meeting serves to provide ICEAA members and partners across the National Capital Region with an annual update on WCAC operations and achievements. Convening cost estimating professionals across Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia, participants are invited to connect with WCAC leadership to gain insights on chapter accomplishments, current activities, and future endeavors.
This year’s All-Member Meeting will be located at Technomics, Inc. in Arlington, VA. Doors will open at 4:30pm for networking and light refreshments, with a catered dinner consisting of cooked entrees/sides, fruit/vegetable platters, beer, soft drinks, and assorted desserts served promptly at 5pm.
KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Keynote speaker Stephen Loftus, from the office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Cost and Economics, will share some engaging and insightful thoughts on the state of the cost estimating and analysis profession.
CHAPTER AWARDS & OTHER FUN
We will also have team trivia (with mystery prizes distributed to the winning team ?), an update on the state of the chapter and its accomplishments in the last year, and finally a presentation of the 2021 chapter awards for:
– Technical Achievement
– Team Achievement
– Leadership/Management
– Junior Analyst

All chapter members are encouraged to attend free of charge. Non-chapter members are also welcome but will be asked to contribute $20 toward food and refreshments.

EVENT ACCESS:
METRO:
The Technomics office is a 7-9 minute walk from the Crystal City Metro station or an 11-13 minute walk from the Pentagon City Metro station.
From the Crystal City Metro:
– Walk straight down Bell street, cross 15th street to get to Clark—the office is on the right hand side of the street.
– You can also walk in the Crystal City Underground: Follow the signs for 12th street. The main entrance is made of all glass doors and will be on the right.
From the Pentagon City station:
– Follow 12th Street from the metro until you get to Clark Street.
– Turn right onto Clark—the Technomics office will be on the left hand side.
PARKING:
There is ample metered street parking on 12th Street and Long Bridge Drive, as well as garage parking under the building that is free after 4pm. If you choose to park under the building, the entrance is off Clark Street. You can park virtually anywhere, but it is recommend you go down one or two levels and park in the vicinity of the elevator bay. These elevators lead to the main entrance of our office (Suite 1500) on the 15th floor.
